The DPO and DPS certifications from NPC are part of the regulatory framework in the Philippines that aims to protect individuals’ privacy rights and promote responsible data handling practices, indicating that a registered organization and its appointed DPO are committed to upholding the highest standards of data protection and privacy in accordance with the Philippines’ data protection laws, such as the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
